Computer Review: WeatherPop

Reviewed by SoySauce

WeatherPop is a nifty little program that, you guessed it, tells you the weather.

Well, scratch that. It tells you the weather, and then some. When launched, WeatherPop will place a menu on the menu bar, you know, the little white strip on the top of your monitor... with the clock, that will display the current sky condition and outside temperature. After launching, however, you will want to give it your location. WeatherPop will then find that exact location, or the next closest one.

Once you are done with that, the current outside temperature and sky condition will appear, and memories will flood your mind of what the outside is actually like! Egads!

However, the version you download is only the regular version. The regular version includes a "15 day trial" of sorts... You can activate the advanced version for about 15 days before the option cannot be selected again. Features in the advanced version include Five-Day forecasts, humidity, weather direction, and a whole boatload of goodies. Fun for the whole family!

In conclusion, this nifty program is good for people who don't get out much, or who just want to know what the gosh-darn temperature is outside.
