Music Review: The Bloodhound Gang: Hooray For Boobies

Reviewed by forge

This CD is full of raunchy lyrics, insinuated situations, and just plain lewd content. It's pretty damn good. Overall this is a solid CD, not as good as their previous CD(s) however, but if you put it on it's own it could stand up for itself, probably through a barrage of language that would almost make me embarrassed to turn it up at stoplights when I have the windows down... Almost.

If you get this CD, get the "Parental Advisory" version, it's much better. When I bought this CD I almost thought that the "safe" version was the only one, the cover is enough to do that (cow udders are generally not on covers that don't have "bad" language). Either version is still funny as hell, but the explicit one just has some added "oomph" that the safe version is missing.

The songs on here are funny, the little bits of dialogue between some songs are generally amusing, and most of the songs have a good beat to them. Some of the titles are a bit off and that translates into the songs as well. Any song that refers to strippers crying while giving you a lap dance should be reviewed at lower volume first before dropping those windows and making the old lady driving the brand new Lincoln have a third heart attack.
