Where to Start

All of the storylines start in different places. Having trouble finding them? This is where you can see where they all start. Listed are the physical locations of the missions, requirements, chances, and requirements.

Definition of Terms:

  • Available: What planet/station the initial mission for the entire string starts.
  • Location: Where to go to get the mission: Bar, Shipyard, Outfitter, Mission BBS, Commodity Exchange
  • Chance: Random chance of you getting offered the mission. Sometimes fate can be mean, so don't think that 50% means that you will ABOSLUTELY get it half the time you go somewhere.
  • Combat Rating: Number of people you've killed in combat.
  • Gov't Rating: You have to have the offering government like you at least a little bit; this is how much it takes.
  • Notes: Any notes on acquiring the mission string.


Federation

  • Location: Outfitter
  • Chance: 75%
  • Combat Rating: -
  • Gov't Rating: 1
  • Notes: Can't have started any other storyline.

Rebellion

  • Available: see Notes

  • Gov't Rating: see Notes
  • Notes: If you want to work for the Rebels, the most direct way is to join the Federation, then switch sides. You can also join the Rebellion from the Bounty Hunter or Wild Geese storylines.
